Where the scenes come from
ReDub is a game about re-voicing scenes. The scenes themselves belong to the studios and creators who made them; ReDub claims no rights over them and sells nothing.
Scenes come from a small built in library and from community made packs hosted on GameBanana. When a player asks for a community pack, ReDub converts it into a playable form and keeps that converted copy in a cache so the next player does not wait for the same conversion. Popular packs may also be converted ahead of time so the shelf is ready.
Takedown requests
If you hold rights to something available in ReDub and want it removed, send an email and it will be handled quickly, including any cached converted copy. Please include:
- The work you hold rights to.
- The pack or clip in ReDub: its name as shown, or a link.
- Your name and how to reach you.
- A statement that you believe in good faith the use is not authorized.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that your notice is accurate and that you are the rights holder or authorized to act for them, and your signature.
Counter notice
If your content was removed by mistake or misidentification, reply identifying the content, with your contact details and signature, a statement under penalty of perjury that you believe the removal was an error, your consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court for your address (or, if you are outside the United States, any judicial district where ReDub’s operator may be found), and your agreement to accept service of process from the person who sent the original notice. It may be restored as the law allows.
Repeat problems
Content that receives a valid notice stays out, including the cached copy. Sources that repeatedly infringe are blocked.
