How to play
What you need
A modern browser on a phone, tablet or computer, a microphone, and the people you want to play with. There are no accounts and nothing to install. One player hosts; everyone else joins with a four letter code or a link. Rooms hold two to twelve players, and you can also play alone to try a scene and save the video.
Make a room
Type a nickname and press Create room. The lobby shows the room code; tap it to copy the link and send it to your friends. They open the link, type a name, and appear in the player list. The host picks a mode and can change the number of rounds and the timers before starting.
A round
Each round one player is the picker. They choose a scene from the community shelf or upload a clip of their own, and the scene is split into lines. Everyone then records every line in their own voice: tap a line to hear the original, press the red record button, speak, and stop. Any take can be redone. A timer runs, set by the host, and finished takes are kept when it ends.
Showcase and vote
When everyone has submitted, the dubs play back on every screen at the same time with no names on them, labelled Dub #1, Dub #2 and so on. Then each player votes for the funniest dub other than their own. A vote is worth 100 points, every complete dub earns 10, and a dub that takes every vote earns a further 100. Names are revealed with the scores, and the host moves the room to the next round.
Modes
Classic is the round described above. Chain is a telephone game: every player starts a chain on the same scene, the chains rotate, and each player only hears the part recorded just before theirs. Cast gives each player a character; everyone records their own character’s lines without hearing anyone else, and one stitched scene plays back. Chain and Cast have no votes; the reveal is the result.
Saving
From the results screen any player can save their dub as an MP4, in the clip’s own frame or vertical for TikTok and Shorts, with a small ReDub mark in the corner. On a phone the share sheet hands the file to other apps.
