Terms of service

ReDub is a browser party game. You and your friends pick a famous scene, the game hands out the lines, everyone records their own voice, and the room watches the scene wearing your voices.

There are no accounts. You choose a nickname, you get a four letter room code, and that is the whole setup. You must be at least 13 to use ReDub. By using redub.tv you agree to these terms; if you do not agree, do not use the site.

Everything you record is yours. ReDub claims no ownership of your voice or your dubs.

So the game can work, you give ReDub permission to store your takes on its server, play them to the other players in your room, and mix them into the dub video your room watches and can save. By recording in a room you also allow the players in that room to save and share the finished dub your voice is part of.

Takes are not kept. They are deleted when your room closes, and each new round clears the last one. The privacy page has the details.

ReDub is meant to be silly with friends. A few things are still off the table:

• Keep it legal. No threats, no hate, no harassment aimed at anyone, inside the room or outside it.
• Do not disrupt the service: no flooding, probing, scraping, or attacking the server.
• Do not use ReDub to violate someone else’s rights or the law where you live.

Rooms that break these rules can be closed and access can be blocked, without notice.

The scenes you dub belong to the studios and creators who made them. ReDub claims no rights over them, sells nothing, and is built for private play among friends.

If you hold rights to a scene and want it removed, the copyright page explains how. Removals are handled quickly.

You can save the dub your room made. The video carries a small ReDub watermark.

Where you share it is your call and your responsibility. If a platform or a rights holder objects to a clip you posted, that is between you and them.

ReDub is free and provided as is. Rooms are live sessions held in memory: an update, a restart, or a failure can end a room and delete its recordings at any moment. Play like the tape can snap, because it can.

To the fullest extent the law allows, ReDub and its operator are not liable for lost recordings, lost rooms, downtime, or any indirect damage from using the site.

These terms can change as ReDub changes. The date at the top of this page is the version you are reading. Using the site after an update counts as accepting the new terms.
